Idee Vintage (“we”, “us”, “our”) website (“our site”) and related services are made available to you in accordance with the below Terms & Conditions. Please make sure you read and fully understand our Terms & Conditions before placing any orders with Idee Vintage.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of ideevintage.com and its related services without exception.

Who we are?

Idee Vintage is an online e-commerce reseller of second-hand and vintage goods. We are not affiliated, or claim to own, the rights to any brands sold on this website. The business is based in London, the United Kingdom, and is run by Tanya Korobka and Katharine Cowell.

Placing an order

Acceptance of your offer

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an e-mail acknowledging the details of your order. This e-mail is NOT an acceptance of your order, just an acknowledgment that we have received it. Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Idee Vintage will be completed when we e-mail you to confirm the goods have been dispatched. For the avoidance of doubt, the contract has been concluded in London, in the English language and is therefore governed by English law.

We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event that we do not obtain authorization for payment; that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item; or that the item ordered is out of stock.

We may refuse to process and therefore accept a transaction for any reason, or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product from the website at any time, whether or not that particular product has been sold out.

Eligibility to purchase

In order to make purchases through the website, you are requested to provide your personal details. Customers must provide their real name, billing address, shipping address, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. Furthermore, when ordering items, you will be required to provide your payment details, and you represent and warrant that the payment details you provide on ordering are both valid and correct. Our site is only available for use to individuals who meet our terms of eligibility and who have been issued with a valid debit/credit card by a bank acceptable to Idee Vintage and whose applications are acceptable to Idee Vintage. 

By making an offer to purchase goods from Idee Vintage you expressly authorise us to perform credit checks and where we deem necessary, to request additional information from third parties in order to authenticate your identity and validate your credit/debit card details in order to process your order. 

Pricing policy

The prices on the product page are indicated including VAT. Please note that your order may be subject to import duties and taxes over which we have no control as they are levied by your tax and customs office. As the customer and importer of the goods, you will be responsible for these charges. Import duties or tax costs will be invoiced to you directly from the appointed forwarder. Idee Vintage is not responsible for any delays on goods that have been held back as a result of procedures carried out by your local customs authorities.

Payment

Payment can be made by Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Debit, Visa Delta, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro debit cards, and via PayPal. Debit and credit card payments are processed via Shopify Payments powered by Stripe, a secure payment gateway provider. PayPal is an online payment processing company widely used on the Internet to facilitate sales transactions, including credit card payments. When you proceed with making your online purchase and you select PayPal as a method of payment you will be transferred to the PayPal site where your transaction will be processed. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon receipt of an order acknowledgement email. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorize payment to Idee Vintage, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Furthermore, we take reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the site.

Products

Our products are available exclusive online through this website. These products are limited to the available quantities and are not subject to returns or exchanges (unless otherwise stated).

Due to the nature of the products available on this website (vintage and/or second-hand), items may show signs of wear. We urge you to carefully read all product description and confirm measurements and the sizing for all garments.

We make every effort to be as accurate as possible in our product descriptions, and photograph and mention any signs of wear and damages, however we can’t guarantee that damages, other than those listed, may not be present.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products or information purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations.

We make every effort to display the colours and images of our products that appear in the store, as accurately as possible but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the representation of these colours as reproduced across other devices.

Warranties; limitation of liability

We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable. You agree that from time to time we may remove the service for indefinite periods of time or cancel the service at any time, without notice to you.

You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk. The service and all products and services delivered to you through the service are (except as expressly stated by us) provided 'as is' and 'as available' for your use, without any representation, warranties, or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.

Except as specifically stated on this website, to the fullest extent permitted at law, neither Idee Vintage nor any of its affiliates, directors, employees, service providers, or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or the information, content, materials or products included on this site.

This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect, or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property, and claims of third parties. For the avoidance of doubt, Idee Vintage does not limit its liability for death or personal injury to the extent only that it arises as a result of the negligence of Idee Vintage, its affiliates, directors, employees or other representatives.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the service, use of the service, or access to the service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.
